nature .
Quiet forests and fast descents. Gentle and wild. The activities that await you are as diverse as the nature of the Val Sarentino.

Where is the Val Sarentino located in South Tyrol?

North of Bozen, it runs idyllically through the Sarntal Alps. A wildly romantic landscape of pristine nature, mountains, alpine pastures and scattered hamlets. Thanks to its location, it is rightly called “the heart of South Tyrol”. Weissenbach is situated at the sunny end of the valley at an altitude of 1,335 m. Centrally located enough to explore South Tyrol beyond the valley floor. Secluded enough to truly unwind.

Summer in the Val Sarentino

In summer you can expect clear paths, tranquil mountain lakes and scenic high-altitude trails. Hiking, trail running, mountain biking, via ferrata – everything is close together in the Val Sarentino. Starting in summer 2026, Judith will regularly lead tours that suit your pace and show you places you would hardly find on your own. Those who prefer a quieter environment should stay in the valley: Forest bathing, walking paths, small farms and rustic wooden benches that invite you to linger.

Marterloch adventure trail
